Basit Mustafa serves as the Chief Information Officer at Procurement Sciences AI, bringing over 20 years of experience in scaling SaaS platforms and more than 10 years in the GovCon sector, with a focus on deploying security-compliant on-premises systems. His deep expertise in government contracting data security and compliance frameworks, including NIST, CMMC, and SOC, has been instrumental in designing architectures capable of operating in highly secure environments for top government contractors, while also scaling efficiently for small and mid-sized businesses.

Basit’s passion for technology began early. He started programming before age 10, laying a foundation for future leadership roles. Prior to joining Procurement Sciences, he was Chief Technology Officer at AgileATS, where he focused on streamlining software development. He also founded Voltaire, Inc. and served as CEO, building innovative legal tech tools for litigators.

Outside of his professional work, Basit is an ultra-marathon runner, ice climber, and active leader in the arts community. He serves as President of the Board at the Telluride Council for Arts and as a board member at Telluride Arts. His diverse background and commitment to both technology and community make him a key contributor to Procurement Sciences’ mission to deliver AI-powered solutions for government contractors.
