Larry Pitts serves as the Director of Customer Success and Account Management at Procurement Sciences, bringing over a decade of firsthand GovCon experience as both a practitioner and a former client. He chairs the company’s Customer Advisory Board and leads a dedicated team supporting hundreds of enterprises, from agile 8(a)s to Fortune 100s. His strategic guidance has directly contributed to significant client growth, including helping one WOSB secure over $18M in new contract wins.
Larry’s belief in AI-driven efficiency is born from personal experience. In a previous role, he transformed his proposal output from two bids per month to 38 in a single quarter with a 60% win rate immediately after implementing Procurement Sciences’ tools. His career is marked by a track record of driving measurable growth: for a minority-owned tech firm, he expanded the addressable market by 45% while reducing proposal response times by 40%. Previously, at ABM Industries, he managed a portfolio averaging $10 million in yearly revenue and was responsible for retaining the company’s top 25% of clients.
Larry’s leadership is guided by a people-centered philosophy that actively seeks critical feedback to drive innovation. He believes AI tools are only as good as the human insight that shapes them, and this direct feedback loop has been instrumental in shaping the product, contributing to over 100 platform enhancements. A firm believer that a good teacher must remain a dedicated student, he is furthering his own AI expertise through coursework at institutions including the University of Pennsylvania, MIT, and Johns Hopkins.
Larry holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Clemson University. Outside of the office, he is committed to his community in Baltimore, volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House and sharing his passion for technology by supporting STEM youth development programs at Johns Hopkins.
